Out-and-out stayer Simon is reported to be in great form ahead of his Grand National bid on April 5. Trainer John Spearing's star performer was still travelling well when coming to grief late on in last year's Grand National. Simon is all class, with a Racing Post Chase victory to his name and his fourth in the same race this year was a credible performance on ground that was not soft enough for him. His trainer reports that in-form jumps jockey Dominic Elsworth will take the ride on 14-1 shot Simon. Simon is 14/1 in the Grand National betting with the superb Bet365 online bookmaker.
