10/12/2007: RAMBLING MINSTER defied topweight to win the Kelso four-mile handicap chase in very testing conditions. Trainer Keith Reveley was immediately talking about this season’s Grand National for the classy stayer. The race was run at a real good pace and proved to be a real test, but Rambling Minster shrugged his rivals aside on ground that ought to have been too testing for him. Previously his best form has been on good ground. Rambling Minster was running off a mark of 132 and, given that last year’s Grand National bottom weight ran off a handicap mark of 135, he should get into the Aintree spectacular. Rambling Minster is currently 25/1 in the Grand National betting with Bet365 Online Bookmaker.
