National hunt racing's richest owner, the billionaire JP McManus, could have as many as four horses running in the Grand National betting. It is a quantity and quality assault on jump racing's most sought after prize, the Grand National, and one that has so far eluded the jumps racing-crazy Irish tycoon McManus. McManus has been trying to land the Grand National for fifteen years and has had twenty nine runners in that time and who would bet against him achieving the feat at some point. But will it be this year? McManus has ten horses still declared for the Grand National but the most likely runners are Butler's Cabin (14/1), King Johns Castle (16/1) and L'Ami (20/1).
